"In other news..."
"Seems as though the swine flu is still kicking and the recession is still taking it's toll."
"In other news, mac and cheese sales are through the roof!"
Veggie style, of course! I take a tonne of peas in mine, Tom takes canned tomatoes in his.
Another way we make it healthier is to not use butter, or even milk. Simply boil the pasta, drain, add cheese, and stir. Once combined, toss in veggies, and voila!
teeeeniest bit of milk to make a nice orangy paste and combine that with the pasta and residual pasta water will make a sauce just right. and a tablespoon of butter. straight up. no additions. yum.
Yep, Quinn introduced me to not using milk or butter (to eliminate soupiness)...and he sometimes adds extra shredded cheddar cheese in his. I like to add bout 1/2 can of tomato soup (per box of KD).

Mac & Cheese is tasty...what kind of variations have you come up with?
{Mac and cheese is one of the few things I can keep down when feeling ill. Well, that, and perogies!}

How about everyone else? How do you like your mac and cheese?
I just use a little bit of milk and IF I use butter, it's a tiny little bit. I don't like it too soupy.
