If I met You tomorrow

If I met You face to face tomorrow
There’d be so many things I’d want to say

I’d want to thank You
for the things I got to do
for the places I got to go
for the people I got to meet

I’d want to thank You
for all of the fun
I’d want to tell You
that I think I had a good run

If I met You face to face tomorrow
There would be so many things I’d want to say

I’d want to thank You
for keeping Your promise
for saving me from this world
for paying for my salvation

I’d want to tell You
I’m grateful for meeting The Truth and The Life just in time
I’d want to tell You
That I finally understood this life wasn’t actually mine

If I met you face to face tomorrow
There would be so many things I’d want to say

But, if I met You face to face tomorrow
I'd probably stand in awe of You
Not able to say anything at all

I thank God You know my heart
In case I meet You face to face tomorrow

It's beautiful, Candice.

thanks for that reminder Candice...reminded me of a song...a Christian oldie...by Point of Grace, I pasted the chorus, kinda reverse from your thinking.
What's He gonna say about me
When He weighs the works that
I have done
Against the words that I have
Failed to speak
What's He gonna say about me
When the chaff is sifted from the wheat
Will there be evidence that I believed
What's He gonna say about me

Wow, those lyrics Lyla passed on can really make you think about that moment – that moment when you are going to stand in front of God and account for your life here on earth. The bible stresses that God is loving, however it also stresses that he is just. The only thing that can save you is Jesus. I wouldn't want to have to introduce myself to Jesus at that moment.

In church last Sunday, the pastor asked the following questions:
Who thinks heaven is a wonderful place to be?
Who wants to go to heaven?
Who wants to go right now?

Well my answers, similar to many others' I'm sure, were not the same to all three questions. Why is there such disparity between the answers to these questions, especially if we think that heaven is the most wonderful place ever? In my meager opinion, its the getting in to heaven part that is a bit concerning to people. However, I take comfort in my love Jesus, because the bible says that God will welcome anyone who believes in his son.
