Making nut butters!


Today's creations:
Smooth Honey-Nut butter & Crunchy Cashew Peanut


I must say, both are delicious!

That's a cool idea! What do you do, just fill your food processor with peanuts?

Pretty much! A few cups of nuts of your choice, plus a bit of liquid to help get it going. In today's experiments, I used honey for that in one recipe and olive oil in the other.

Delicious and hydrogenated-oil free!

with Caden eating peanut butter i switched to the natural peanut butter, just peanuts. i keep it refrigerated to avoid seperation. I like it, there sure is a sugar difference, but its still peanut butter to me! The honey version sounds yummy!
