1. We stayed at a fancy-shmancy hotel. We even had an executive room.
2. We stayed at a budget-friendly $33/night hotel. We had diner and drinks for $10.
3. The border, which we arrived at by bus at 5:00am, took nearly 2 hours to cross!

I sincerely hope that the 5am crossing is the false fact... but it just seems tooo plausible, considering your typical crazy schedule.
ANSWER: The lie is #3
Although we got there at 4:30am and it took just over 4 hours to cross.
The other two are true... Super cool story to come as to how that all worked out!!
Hey C, if you are travelling around Arenal/La Fortuna and want a really nice /cool place to stay, there is a mom and pop hotel called 'lucky bug' 10 min outside of La Fortuna. Out of this world art made by their daughters! and awesome food made by the mom!
