I went whale watching once, but still had a film camera that was waaaay too slow to capture much more than a small piece of tail. I'd love to go again.
Exactly a week ago, for Tom's birthday, in Ecuador. The last 3 days we were there we went to the pacific coast to take a little time to relax and process before returning back to Canada again.
sweet! they are still hard to capture on digital, i had to have my camera on "Continuous" to catch the majority of their body when they surface. they're such a beautiful creature.
